Its active is bakuchiol, a plant-derived retinol alternative studied in peer-reviewed research — it helps support cellular renewal and collagen production and visibly smooth fine lines, without the irritation retinol is known for.
The lightweight dry-oil texture absorbs fast. Organic jojoba oil, structurally similar to the skin's own sebum, conditions without clogging pores. Organic rosehip and evening primrose oils, naturally rich in omega fatty acids, nourish and support the skin barrier, while organic strawberry, raspberry and blueberry seed oils add antioxidant protection alongside vitamin E. The scent comes from geranium essential oil.
Unlike retinol, bakuchiol can be used both morning and evening, requires no adaptation period, and does not increase photosensitivity — ideal if you don't want to modify your routine, or if your skin is sensitive.

I wanted something for evening use but my skin has never got on particularly well with retinol. This oil feels calming and after several weeks my skin is noticeably softer and more even in texture. I only use three drops because any more is unnecessary, it spreads very easily.
At first I worried it would be too oily for my combination skin but used sparingly it absorbs really nicely. I apply it as the last step at night and wake up with my skin looking rested rather than greasy. The rough patches around my mouth have also improved a lot.
I nearly gave up after four weeks—nothing dramatic to report. Stuck with it though, and by week ten the difference was genuine. Skin's noticeably firmer, fine lines have softened. It's not overnight magic, but it works. The scent is barely there, which I genuinely prefer. Yes, it's pricey, but you can feel the quality in every application—ECOCERT certified natural ingredients and made in Europe count for something.
